我也来说ABC,用邮件搞定godaddy退款
接前文:godaddy主机降级教程,及降级心路历程。下面继续降级之后的godaddy退款事宜:
显示已经降级后,我们查看了下gift card的余额,没看到有退款;再到主机帐户里查看,帐户有效期和余额也和之前一样,莫非godaddy不会自动退款?或者主机间的降级,会不予返还差价?
带着疑问,想着godaddy会不会明天再退款?终于在伸手可以略见五指的时光,上床睡觉先。
第二天,写博客,访问“评论英雄榜”上的热心博友,再看帐户余额,退款没有到位。
第三天,再写博客,继续关心“评论英雄榜”上的博友,完毕后,退款仍旧没有收到。
第四天,收拾好心情,开始给godaddy写email:
Hi,sir,I have Downgraded my hosting from Premium to Deluxe, and ask for the refund. My godaddy gift card number:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
thanks.
当天傍晚,收到godaddy的email,效率挺高,赞扬一下:
Dear xxxxxx,
Thank you for contacting customer support in regards to your downgrade.
In response to your question, please note that when you downgrade, the extra funds are used to extend your hosting plan. I apologize for any confusion.
Please let us know if we can assist you in any other way.

瞪着大眼仔细研读,知道有戏,但没有讲退款会到那里。决定再等一下,看看他们有何动作。
第五天,退款及续费日期都没有任何变化,继续send我的三脚猫英语email到godaddy:
Thank you for your response. The Premium Hosting is $14.99, Deluxe Hosting is $6.99,
Now I downgraded my hosting from the Premium to Deluxe already.
Then, my balance is zero or other? Or, the refunds will put in my gift card?
Thanks.
第六天,收到godday回信:
Dear xxxxxx,
Thank you for contacting online support.
We do apologize for the miscommunication. Per your downgrade of the Premium hosting account to a Deluxe account, I have submitted a refund for the difference of these 2 plans for your most recent renewal. Downgrades must be manually refunded through our end. The credit is not automatically applied to the next month’s renewal.
Please note that the request must be approved by our billing department. Please allow 48 hours for my request to be processed and for the credit to appear in the order history of your account, if approved.
Once the credit appears in your customer account, please allow 5-7 business days to see the funds applied to the associated payment method. In this case, your gift card used. If we are not able to process a refund for this service you will be contacted. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.

看完回信,知道会退款,不过要等几天。当天晚上无聊时,再check了下余额,已经全数放到gift card里面了!
终于搞定godaddy主机降级、退款,成功的同时也倍感挫折,为何不能让老外也体会下积水成渊博客的文采呢,用英文?

godaddy的服务相当不错。我自己要多加强学习了,其实我们觉得和老外沟通麻烦,主要是自己的语言不够过关。
godaddy的服务不错啊,以后考虑还用它的,可是速度有点慢…我的博客打开就不快
